An excellent property; clean, warm, comfortable and very well equipped. Fully recommended, quiet with lovely views, we will be booking a return visit next year.
Mrs Stanton, Cumbria
,Everything was superb in every way.
Mr Wright, North Yorkshire
,Overall a lovely homely cottage perfect for our family of four. Had beautiful views and all the essentials to make our week relaxing.
Miss Collett, Buckinghamshire
,Excellent accommodation, would definitely stay again. Had fabulous views and it was handy for visiting Chester and Wales.
,We had watched the conversion of the barn, from afar, on our occasional bird watching visits to the area. When we realised that Lavender Cottage was available as a holiday property we just had to book a stay. We found the cottage even more stunning than expected. The views are fantastic but the standard of care and attention to detail, in the cottage, is outstanding. We were extremely comfortable and found Lavender Cottage clean, cosy and very well-equipped. Ideally positioned for wandering and bird watching and certainly somewhere we would like to return.
Mrs Halstead, Staffordshire
,A lovely, comfortable and warm cottage with the most spectacular views over the Dee estuary. Well situated for travelling around the Wirral or equally just watching the wildlife from the windows. Ewes and lambs in the barns behind the cottage, we could hear them calling, it was great. There was an ever changing view from the cottage, a real oasis.
Mrs Hurll, Dorset
,Lavender Cottage is a beautiful place and well maintained by its owners. This was our third visit and we enjoyed it just as much as the previous visits.
Mr Spencer, Derbyshire
,We liked the presentation of Lavender Cottage and its situation; being close to beautiful villages whilst also allowing good access to the North of England and Wales.
Mrs Danher, Australia
,Lavender Cottage was so comfortable and peaceful. We had everything there we could need - lots of thoughtful little touches. There's plenty to do within easy distance and having the bikes provided was great with the Wirral Way very nearby. After busy days out, we loved coming back to the cottage and relaxing while looking out over the estuary and North Wales. Would love to return.
Mrs Burdett, Dorset
,The kitchen was extremely well supplied for all our needs, there was a very large quantity of crockery/cutlery/glassware available. Everything we needed they had supplied. The bedrooms likewise, all we needed was there. The cottage was extremely warm, cosy and very welcoming when we returned each night. Would certainly recommend this property and likely to return again.
,Very comfortable, cosy cottage with excellent views. We loved exploring the area. Relaxing holiday had by all.
Mrs Tait, Select Here
,Excellent location, quiet, rural, peaceful with a relaxed feel. Very tastefully modernised cottage. All in all, heartily recommended and would like to go again.
,The cottage was so clean and fully equipped. It was wonderful to return to a peaceful and cosy setting to watch the sunset over the estuary after a busy day out. There was so much to see and do and we hope to return.
Mrs Davies, Gloucestershire
,The cottage is well situated with lovely views. It was quiet and relaxing. Ideal for a couple or small family.
Mrs Stanton, Cumbria
,We loved this property. Had everything we could want. Perfect location and views. Already recommended it to family.
,Fantastic! Lavender Cottage was very well equipped, warm and was a spotlessly clean house with a fantastic view!! Would highly recommend this place and we would return. We loved this holiday home and you couldn't fault it.
Mrs Goring, North Yorkshire
,We loved the location of Lavender Cottage, it had access to the cities, yet it was right in the countryside. Right on the doorstep of RSBP land, cycle track and you could sit in the house and have a fantastic view of all the birds! We particularly liked the warmth of the cottage, even in the middle of winter! This is not the first time we have visited Lavender Cottage and it definitely wont be the last !
Mrs Berry, Sir Ynys Mon
,Very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a peaceful location. Great views from the conservatory across the marshlands. A good base for exploring North Wales and Cheshire
Mrs Miller, Durham
,This is in an excellent setting with views over marshes and River Dee to Wales; ever shifting light patterns and wonderful sunsets. It is a quiet location (apart from sheep!) but with good access to main roads, Chester, Liverpool and North Wales. A few minutes from path along river estuary.
,It was such a peaceful location, early mornings and late evenings were uniquely calming and renewing with the view across the estuary under the vast expanse of sky finally crowned with some magnificent sunsets. Nothing quite like it anywhere else we have been.
Mr Garner, South Yorkshire
