Our party of 8 adults have just enjoyed a lovely three night break here. There wasn't a single thing we could find fault with, there was everything and more that made our stay enjoyable. The location is ideal and the view over the estuary and watching the passing steam train was so relaxing. It is furnished to a very high standard and a credit to the owners. Whitby is just a short walk or taxi away. We will definitely be returning.
Mrs Berry, Greater Manchester
,I just liked the whole package, it is a beautiful place and was very relaxing. My whole family, from the 4 year old to the 65 year old had nothing but praise, well done.
Mrs Marmion, Cheshire
,We had a great time in this lovely house, can't praise it enough. The house had all we needed and was furnished throughout to a very high standard. The setting was fabulous and enjoyed all the sights on the river. A great base to explore the surrounding Yorkshire coast, will be returning in the future that's for sure. Would highly recommend this property.
,The accommodation was beautiful and in such a lovely position overlooking the river and steam railway. The standard of the furnishings was particularly high.
Mr Hughes, South Yorkshire
,Location is superb. The property itself is excellently maintained and has great views of the river and railway.
Mrs Ward, Lancashire
,We loved this place. The décor and furnishings were of the highest quality. The beds were comfortable, the space fantastic and the atmosphere such a wonderful and happy place. We loved sitting in the conservatory watching the river and waving to the steam trains. It was one of the nicest places we have stayed. Thanks so much!
Mrs Jones, Choose a County
,A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting - didn't want to leave!
Mrs Stewart, South Yorkshire
,Liked the standard of the accommodation and the homely feel. It is well equipped and furnished to a high standard. This particular property is situated in a beautiful spot with the river and steam train at the bottom of the garden.
Ms Cripps, South Yorkshire
,The location was superb and the layout of the house was ideal, particularly the kitchen and conservatory area. There was easy access to Whitby without the need to drive. The kitchen was like a home from home with everything you could possibly need.
