In a lovely location with plenty of walking in the immediate area. Handy for Carlisle and Penrith for days out, or as somewhere to just relax for the week. Have been here twice and hopefully will be back again. Have no hesitation in recommending Woodpecker Cottage for anyone considering a holiday in this area.

,It was a lovely cottage, one of the best we have ever stayed in, set in a lovely quiet location. Overall, it was a very pleasant break.
,This was my third time at this location, I find it good for touring the area and visiting Penrith, the local town. One is always made welcome and the cottage being next to the owners farm is ideal.
