This is a lovely, well equipped, cosy and warm cottage perfect for that getaway feeling. It is located at the end of a quiet lane with a gorgeous view of the country hills. Thanks to the neighbours efforts there are plenty of birds visiting the forecourt which only enhances the idyllic surroundings. There are plenty of sign-posted walks from the village or within a short driving distance and basic provisions can be bought from the local co-operative store. There are a couple of local cafes, pubs and a fresh fruit and veg store within easy walking distance of the property. The cottage and village of Tideswell are well worth a visit.
,The cottage was perfect for the two of us, it was warm and cosy with all the facilities expected. It is well situated in a lovely village with shops, friendly pubs and cafes all to hand. It was very well situated for the Peak District generally with access to lots of hill waking.
