The cottage was very warm and cosy. Had a lovely greeting on arrival from the owners. This cottage is perfectly placed for tourists being quite close to everything including a very regular bus service. A very enjoyable stay.
Mr Camp, Queensland
,Had a really enjoyable holiday. A holiday is all the more enjoyable when you have a good standard accommodation. Number 7 is a special place. It's a home away from home, and spot on for transport and local shops. Even 2 miles from Derby city centre, it has a village feel. I enjoyed it so much I might even stop there again.
Mr Davison, Durham
,Lovely property, lovely owners and a lovely location.
Mrs Sims, Derbyshire
,Lovely cottage in a great location with very kind and helpful owners.
Mrs Sims, Derbyshire
,No 7 Allestree is a charming cottage, full of character and with everything one needs for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The owners go out of their way to provide a warm welcome and to make their guests feel at home. It is the second time we have stayed in this cottage and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
Mr Lacey, County of Bristol
,I've stayed at this cottage several times before, as it's perfect for me and you always get a warm welcome from the owner.
,The cottage is a few steps from an entrance to Allestree Park, which is huge and a wonderful dog-walking experience. Across the road is a pub serving food all day which allows dogs in. Blenheim Parade, with shops for food/newspapers etc is 5-10 minutes' walk and bus service is even closer on Duffield Road for Matlock, Bakewell, and more. The sports ground is 2 minutes' walk away for a short dog walk (and friendly dog owners galore). The owners are fabulous, with explanations of how everything works. Every cooking appliance is there so it is really a home-from-home and for TV addicts, there is not only the large flat-screen in the lounge, but also others in the kitchen and bedroom.
Miss Matyk, North Yorkshire
,It is a super little cottage, in very nice condition and very well located. The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful.
Mr Manlow, East Sussex
,This is a great, well appointed little cottage in an ideal area for exploring the best of Derbyshire. We would recommend without any hesitation.
Mrs Matthews, Hampshire
,This is the third time I've stayed here and I continue to be very happy with the property.
