Location, Location, Location! It was "A Plus" on every level for us, truly like home away from home, so much so we only ate out once. Views from the property are fantastic and the sunrises were fantastic, great star gazing. There were walks literally on the doorstep, 5 minutes walk and the scenery opens like you have been stretching your legs for a good half hour or more. We will be back, nothing surer.
,Rowan House was just right for our family holiday. An ideal base for both the Lakes and Dales. The house was very warm and cosy and the large kitchen was perfect, with plenty of space to fit a high chair. We hope to return one day.
Mrs Foster, East Riding of Yorkshire
,Rowan House was warm and cosy at all times, with excellent heating-essential in February! Clean and well maintained with good selection of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. It was set in an excellent location for walks and days out, with absolutely stunning views from the garden and the house itself. Our whole family loved the week here and I would recommend it to others without hesitation. Dog friendly house too so the whole family can come on holiday!

,The accommodation was really nice and the view was amazing.
,Excellent cottage with a large garden and amazing views with beautiful walks from the cottage without having to drive anywhere. There was a very helpful local contact. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a family, with or without a dog.
