South of England, PO30 3LH, GB
To the south of the Isle of Wight sits Yafford, and within this peaceful hamlet lies Pond Cottage, in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse and just a mile from the sea. The cottage is set next to an attractive large pond, and has been converted from an 18th Century barn, retaining much character including exposed beams and trusses, wooden floors and stone walls. The well-equipped kitchen has a dining area, the sitting room is cosy and comfortable and the bedrooms, one double and one twin with an additional folding bed, are set up in the eaves. There is cycling, walking and birdwatching nearby, or simply relax in the private garden.

The cottage was amazing and the location was perfect. It was so quiet and tucked away, yet so close to all the main resorts and near the gorgeous Colwell Bay. We thought the Isle of Wight was beautiful and still so quaint and unspoilt. We actually think your photos did not do the property justice. There was so much thought to everything there. The cottage was so well equipped with everything you needed including iron, ironing board, airier, condiments and cooking oil etc. The leaflets, videos and games were a great idea too. The garden was spacious and lovely with the vine. It felt very much like home! We would definitely recommend this to family and friends and will definitely go to this cottage again.
Mr Brecknell, Surrey

Mrs Johnston, Cambridgeshire
,One of the best cottages we have stayed in, everything was perfect. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They really looked after their cottage and it was a pleasure to stay there. We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. 10/10.
Mrs Ray, Buckinghamshire
,A lovely out of season break on the Isle of Wight. The cottage was great, well modernised and beautifully clean.
Mrs Sheldon, Oxfordshire
,The space inside the property was excellent for two couples and a toddler. We liked the quiet location but easy access to all of the island, and the owners were very helpful.
Mrs Wyeth, West Sussex
,The owners were very friendly and gave helpful advice when asked. We loved the spaciousness of the cottage and the waxed wood everywhere inside - on the floors, up the stairs and on the walls lining the stone cottage which made it very cosy. The downstairs walk-in shower room was great and the modern yet "farmhouse feel" kitchen was well equipped.
