Perfectly placed in a quiet village offering easy reach to all the attractions of the East Neuk.
,A good location for exploring the East Neuk of Fife. Excellent central heating. A beautiful garden for sitting out.
Mrs Hardie, Moray
,Cairnhill genuinely felt like a home away from home. It is beautifully done out and very comfortable, with lots of little touches and extras which show the owners' care and attention to detail. The location is excellent, garden and balcony beautifully done and ideal for enjoying the outdoors. Cannot recommend Cairnhill highly enough.
Mrs Mawhirt, Angus
,The house was clean and airy and the children could happily and safely play fully supervised in the open plan downstairs living area. The enclosed, safe garden was great for our 4 and 1yr old children. It was great to have a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Kilrenny itself was lovely. There was a super wee park just behind the house with great walks through the wood. There were coastal villages close by. We had a wonderful holiday exploring all the beaches, parks and rock pools.
Mrs Johnson, Aberdeenshire
,The size of the floorspace within the cottage was great for the mixture of family staying. Everything about the cottage was great, we couldn't have asked for better. It was spotlessly clean, with a good attention to details. A great location. We really enjoyed the garden area too, very private and the outdoor furniture was great for eating on which we took full advantage of on the sunny days.
Mrs Brown, Scottish Borders
,We had a fantastic week in Cairnhill. It has been decorated to such a high standard and truly is family friendly. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is great and was especially enjoyed by our 8 month old son who loved being able to move about so easily in his walker. The bedrooms are spacious and well presented and both upstairs and downstairs bathrooms are also decorated to a very high finish, downstairs with a fantastic shower and upstairs with both a shower and a bath. The balcony was a lovely extra feature and although I personally didn't spend a lot of time out there I know it was enjoyed by other family members for relaxing, reading and photography. Lastly I'd like to mention the fantastic garden area, again incredibly family friendly and although we didn't have great weather we managed to spend one afternoon outside sunning ourselves. There is also a shed with barbecue etc and plenty outdoor seating. We all had a fantastic time and are looking forward to booking in again soon!
,Cairnhill is a great cottage, a brilliant base for exploring the area. The location was superb, with a park and picnic area within a few minutes walk. Only 5 minutes (by car) away from Anstruther and 15-20 minutes or so from the wonderful St. Andrews which is marvellous. We visited Dundee Discovery and science museums, spent 2 great days on the beach at St. Andrews, The 3 children marked it 10 out of 10 which is testament to a fabulous holiday.
Mrs Beesley, West Yorkshire
,The cottage was really lovely, modern, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. The garden is secluded and beautifully kept. It is in a quiet location yet within walking distance to Anstruther Harbour. There were lots of other lovely towns and villages to visit nearby. It was a very relaxing time for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our week in Cairnhill.
Mrs De Vall, Tyne and Wear
,The whole house was perfect for a holiday or longer stay. The enclosed rear garden is a sun trap and an excellent place to relax. We can't rate this house highly enough and will definitely hope to return soon.
Mr Smith, Highland
,A great holiday house which was decorated and furnished to a great standard. It was totally modernised and extended recently. Made for a great open plan experience. The garden was great as it was an enclosed and large open space to play swing ball which we all greatly enjoyed
Mr Cheales, South Lanarkshire
,The cottage was amazingly clean and finished to a very high standard, it felt like we were the first people to stop there. The owners clearly care a great deal about the service they provide and should be very proud of their property.
Mr Bowden, Cumbria
,This cottage is one of the best we have stayed in during the last 23 years of self catering. We all loved the way in which a little bit of thought by the owners, allowed for a cuppa after breakfast on the rear patio and a drink on the forward patio before our evening meal. Congratulations to the owners on a lovely place.
Mr Whitfield, Tyne and Wear
,This was one of the best holiday lets I have ever been in. Everything was first class. 5 star accommodation. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
Mrs Brown, Fife
,Cairnhill is comfy, modern and clean. It is a good base for travelling with an excellent garden which the children loved and attentive owners who were more than happy to answer questions.
Mrs Whittingham, West Yorkshire
,This was one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in a lot. It was a beautiful conversion and everything in the cottage was of a high quality. The area is lovely with lots to see and do. We were surrounded by stunning views of the coast. There was much more that we could have done - a reason to return.
Mrs Burkett, Cheshire
,We had an amazing time couldn't find any problems with the house. It is in a great area with plenty to explore with the beaches and coves. There was lots of information left about the area. A great holiday; we are wanting to return.
Mrs Flood, Durham
,The cottage was absolutely impeccable. Practical, well-appointed and spotless. It is easily the nicest cottage we have stayed in. Great location for touring the surrounding area.
Mr Melarkey, Lanarkshire
