The cottage and location were lovely. Although next to a main road it was very quiet in the cottage and the fields around were so beautiful. It was a good location to get to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales and the local area was very dog friendly.
,The cottage was homely, we had the log fire on which also made it cosy. The owners were very friendly and the surrounding areas were beautiful.
Mrs Beattie, Northumberland
,We have visited at least two cottages every year for the past 10 years and this cottage would feature in our top 3. The owners were very helpful, the cottage was well equipped and extremely clean. Thank you for a great holiday!
Mr Baxendale, Lancashire

Mrs Mcmahon, West Midlands
,It was a home from home, it had plenty of room and you didn't think you were living on top of each other, and it was so comfortable. The owners couldn't be more helpful, they were very friendly. The location was superb, handy for the Dales and Lake District.
Mrs Jones, Greater Manchester
,This was a very comfortable house in a beautiful area. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended whether you want a relaxing holiday, or access to a range of outdoor activities.
Ms Brierton, Perthshire
,There are too many good comments to make but here is a summary; everything was absolutely wonderful, the beds and bedding were a dream to sleep in and cleanliness was above average. The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't fault Hornsbarrow at all and will definitely be returning if they can ever fit us in!
Mrs Fitzgerald, North Ayrshire
