A great base for our weekend away in the Peak District. The cottage is very well appointed with everything you need. The owners are very friendly too.
Mr Lidster, East Riding of Yorkshire
,We all loved the family cottage. It had everything we could want. It was situated very close to all attractions and shops. The views from the cottage were fabulous. The stables to the rear of the cottage gave us all something to smile about. Friendly people to welcome us. Excellent.
Mrs Yule, Fife
,Spacious and everything of a good standard. Every requirement had been anticipated.
Mr Reid, Dumfries and Galloway
,An excellent property.
Mrs Stacey, Lincolnshire
,Beautiful holiday cottage. Love having four en suite bathrooms. Setting was ideal and it was nice for our four year old to wake up and see horses out of her window. Owners were lovely too.
,Lovely barn conversion. We went there with extended family for a birthday celebration and had a lovely time. Great facilities in the barn. Would definitely recommend to all.
,The Barn is a beautiful conversion - the bedrooms, in particular, are wonderful (don't think the photos on the website do the property its full justice!). We arrived after a heavy snowfall, & quite a harrowing journey, to find this "Christmas card" setting before us. On opening the door the first thing that hit us was how nice & warm the place was and then how welcoming it felt. The property is more than adequately equipped and I don't think there was anything we required that wasn't already there.
Mrs Hinchcliffe, South Yorkshire
,The property was absolutely superb, it really did have everything we could need. The furnishings and facilities are of a very high standard, we loved the showers! It was wonderful to have the added bonus of watching the horses at the stables. I would recommend Closes Barn very highly.
Miss Parkes, Derbyshire
,Very clean and modern and liked the local information pack that was left. A great space for a group gathering.
Mrs Goodwin, Leicestershire
,Closes Barn was an excellent place to stay for the 7 of us. There was plenty of space and it was done out to a very high specification. There was loads to go and see roundabout and my 18 month old loved seeing the donkeys and horses in the surrounding fields. There was a lot of outdoor space to enjoy and a pool table to keep the nieces entertained. There was everything we needed for a family of 7 over Easter week. We would most definitely recommend this barn to friends, we had a lovely time.
,The Barn was an ideal family getaway, with lots of amazing walks in the local area. It was very dog friendly which is rare for such a high spec holiday rental.
,Everything was fantastic. The accommodation and equipment is first class, five stars for everything! Wonderful.
Ms Pilkington, Greater Manchester
,The accommodation was outstanding. The Barn was much bigger than it looked from the photos and there was plenty of space. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was very high and we really enjoyed our stay.
Mrs Blizzard, Lancashire
,It was in a nice setting and area. We wanted a ' chilling ' weekend overall which was definitely achieved due to the fantastic barn conversion. It far exceeded our expectations, we will be going again for sure.
Mrs Grimmett, Leicestershire
,Closes Barn is better than a home from home!! The owners were lovely, location was excellent, bags of room for six adults and two dogs
Mr Ward, Warwickshire
,Had a lovely time, Closes Barn is a beautiful cottage - very well equipped.
Mrs Briody, Nottinghamshire
,We loved our stay at Closes Barn and would definitely return! The location was fantastic! We visited with two dogs and a two year old, the owners had thought of everything to ensure that our stay was more than enjoyable. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
Miss Wakefield, Staffordshire
,A spacious and comfortable home from home. Great attention to detail. Loved the underfloor heating. You won't be disappointed.
Mrs Hurved, Worcestershire
,Closes Barn was warm and cosy. The showers were excellent and the beds were very comfortable. Everything that you could possibly need is provided for. It was particularly well kitted out for my 18 month old niece. We all absolutely loved the property and agree that it is one of the best places that we have stayed in.
,We had a lovely week in Closes Barn, plenty of space for our party. All bedrooms being en-suite was an added bonus. We would highly recommend the accommodation and there is plenty to do in the area.
