We have been to many cottages and in our opinion this was one of the very best. It was the first time we have booked with Sykes Cottages and we shall certainly book again if this is the standard.
,Well equipped cottage, especially the kitchen. Had a good standard of décor and was very clean. Cottage had the heating on for our arrival on a cold day and plenty of logs for the wood burning stove in the lounge. Good furnishings throughout and comfortable beds.
Ms Drover, Northamptonshire

Miss Gleeson, Leicestershire
,This cottage is really lovely, one of the best that I have stayed in. The location is a dream as there are a lot of facilities a stone's throw away and yet it is in a quiet location. I think the charming courtyard garden will be a real bonus in the nicer weather too.
Mrs Bowen, Surrey
,Perfect - should be 5 star. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Ideal location too, with everything on your doorstep. Thank you so much.
Mrs Mcdonough, Merseyside

,This is a beautiful property in a lovely town. The house was superbly set up and so very close to town, which meant we could walk everywhere. A great experience that we would recommend to anyone.

Mr Hodgson, South Yorkshire
,Roosters is an extremely cosy cottage in a very nice location to explore all the attractions that the local area has to offer. It is a credit to the owner, a very nice lady who we had the pleasure of meeting. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anybody who is interested in visiting this part of the country.
Mrs Anderson, Lancashire
,I have stayed in a great many cottages, but this one ranks as one of the very best. Everything required for an enjoyable stay was included. I can't really find any fault and the location was brilliant. I would urge people not to completely book it up however, as I am looking forward to returning. I'll be back!
,We liked absolutely everything. This is a great property in a lovely location, surrounded by lots to do and see. Roosters was so homely and welcoming. It was perfect. The owners had thought of everything and we can't thank them enough!
Mrs McKetterick, Merseyside
,We spent a lovely and most relaxing weekend at charming Roosters which is located in the picturesque village of Much Wenlock. Roosters is extremely well equipped, the ample parking is ideal as it is off road and therefore private. The property is extremely well looked after and comfortable with a cosy living room with the log burner ready for us to get going. We did and we just felt like enjoying the up to date DVDs collection and board games available. We were extremely grateful for all the walking maps available so we could get the dog going on his daily walks without having to do too much homework. As suggested, we went for an early dinner at the local pet friendly pub, the George and Dragon. We certainly would recommend this but pets are only allowed in the bar area so get there early as you cannot book a table.
Mr Jones, Scottish Borders
,The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well equipped and just beautiful. In a fantastic location with plenty of walks from the door.
Mrs Parrish, Staffordshire
,All fixtures and fittings were of the highest standard and it was the best cottage we have visited in many years.
Mr Rawstron, Lancashire

,Roosters was ideally situated giving easy access to shops, pub and places of interest. The area was very pretty and fairly quiet, which suited us very well.
