They had thought of everything. It was just right for a range of ages and cozy when the weather outside was damp and cold.
The kitchen was really well equipped and we enjoyed cooking in it. There were even a range of good cookery books.
,A great location out in the country away from traffic and noise. Plenty of room for 8 adults to relax in comfort in a modern high quality barn conversion.
Mr Wainwright, Berkshire
,The barn was very clean and had everything required for children. We had a very pleasant stay and couldn't find fault at all.
Mrs Keld, Greater Manchester
,Lovely house and host. We have rented houses over the last few years and everyone agreed this was one of the nicest.
Mrs Wilson, Cumbria
,Beautiful house and stunning surroundings. The owner was so welcoming and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and have a fantastic holiday. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful country retreat with plenty of space. My friend's mum has even seen the photos and is looking to book this year!
Miss Winstanley, Buckinghamshire
,The cottage was beautiful, with very high quality furnishings and decorated to a very high standard. It was luxury class. Everything we needed was available; the entrance hall for leaving wet coats/outdoor boots was a godsend in January and there was plenty of storage space. The living areas were spacious with plenty of comfortable sofas etc. It was also nice to have a semi open plan arrangement so that whoever was cooking didn't feel isolated from the rest of the family. We had a great time and would definitely come again.
,The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The owners had thought of everything you might need - from crockery, to board games, to local attraction leaflets and restaurant menus. In a private location but only a few minutes drive to anything you might need or want to do. Had great social spaces but also room for some privacy.
,A spotlessly clean, huge property that still felt cosy, plenty of space so you didnt feel on top of one another and absolutely fantastic provision for children/young adults in the games room with the pool table and selection of toys, books and games in the cupboard. A lovely welcoming touch with cookies left and a note from the owner. Couldn't fault a single thing about the place or our stay......thank you so much!
Mrs Norbury, Greater Manchester
,Gardale House is in a good location for exploring out and about but also large enough for times when you want to stay indoors and relax due to bad weather, without being on top of each other!
,First class property, will be back!
Mr Jackson, Greater Manchester
,What a fantastic cottage! Wow. Great owners who are more than helpful and a perfect cottage to match. Amazing! I cant wait to stay at Gardale House again.
Mr Archibald, West Yorkshire
,Beautiful setting and excellent accommodation with a very pleasant greet from the owner. We had a fabulous family holiday for 10 of us, with plenty of space for everyone.
Mrs Johnson, Lincolnshire
,This is the best holiday house I have stayed in. There was so much space and so much to do for all age ranges. Facilities in house and garden were just superb and we would recommend 100%.
Mr Smith, Highland
,The location was outstanding and the overall standard of everything in the house including the style/décor was excellent. A well laid out house and garden.
,A wonderful property in a stunning location. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.
Miss Rhodes, West Yorkshire
,Gardale House was amazing! Everything has been thought of with this property to ensure it meets the requirements of all ages. We spent a week here as a 30th birthday holiday for myself and the full family enjoyed every second and were sad to leave!
Mrs Mitchell, East Riding of Yorkshire
,Gardale House was in a superb situation, the views from the garden over the fields was beautiful - truly a rural idyll. The house itself was stylishly furnished with tasteful accessories throughout. It was better than described on the web site!
Miss Taylor, Hampshire
,An really excellent house in a very peaceful and stunning location. We were celebrating a big birthday and we all (aged three to 85) really loved the house, the garden and the area. We had the most marvellous week and the house is very spacious, yet cosy.
,Spacious & extremely comfortable property. Something for everyone young & older. Very well equipped with lots to do inside and out. Garden fabulous. Furnishings and beds & bedding sumptuous. You would be mad not to love this place. We have already booked for next year.
Mrs Bannister, Greater Manchester
,Gardale house is a very well presented holiday home that has everything you need to make a wonderful stay. We have stayed at Gardale twice this year and have thoroughly enjoyed it on both occasions. The provision of essentials is excellent, and there are very many nice little touches that make it a home from home. There are many children and family games available and the games room is a brilliant way to spend family time playing pool and table football.
Mr Richardson, Greater Manchester
,A 5 star property, furnished to a very high standard and very clean with nice touches. Cannot fault Gardale House. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return in the future.
Miss Needham, Cheshire
,Gardale House is of the highest quality. Top end finishes, lovely furnishings and magnificently stocked. So impressed we've already booked to go back again at the same time next year which is something we have never done in the many years we've done this. A picturesque setting, immaculate grounds, a stunning barn conversion, what isn't there to love. Even the wifi was sufficient which is always a challenge in remote areas. Gardale House done good!!
Mr Ransom, Kent
,The condition of the property was excellent, there were plenty of toys and games to keep the whole family happy during some wet days. A thoroughly lovely family week in an excellent property.
Mr Woolrich, Lancashire
,The overall standard was excellent, the owner had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. The children in our party were very happy with the games room, and the sitting room was very spacious for our party of 8 adults and 3 children. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the walk in wardrobe in the master room was a lovely surprise! A beautiful property, would not hesitate to recommend. Hope to return one day!
Mrs Williams, Surrey
,Gardale House was an excellent property. We hired for family and friends for a celebration and it was well equipped for the children - our two grandsons loved it.
Mrs O'Malley, Nottinghamshire
,Liked everything, the property was excellent, everything you needed.
,The children had plenty to keep them occupied and could roam around the downstairs safely. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather, therefore the garden was made good use of by adults and children. The house was homely and we were all able to sit and chat together in the evenings.
Mrs Treece, Derbyshire
,This cottage was well equipped with toys/games for children of all ages (from 1 to 91). It has a large, safely enclosed garden which is great for children. Overall it was well equipped and plenty of space for large party to spread out and not be under each others feet.
Mr Holmes, North Yorkshire
,Gardale House was a beautiful house to stay in, everything about it was perfect! We have stayed in many houses of this size over the years and this was definitely our favourite and hope to return again next year! They had thought of everything! The garden was beautiful and there was plenty for the kids to do both inside and out. There was nothing we could fault about the place.
Mr Richardson, East Riding of Yorkshire
,A beautiful house in stunning surroundings.

Mrs Smith, Lancashire
,A very well thought out design to provide excellent accommodation that was both stylish and comfortable. The attention to detail ensured that everything was clean and tidy and the location was ideal for a quiet and relaxed stay. There was plenty of space for the children to play and the views were beautiful.
