From the description and photos online, we expected the very best - we were delighted to find that it surpassed our expections in every way. First class!
,Very comfortable, warm accommodation for a Christmas break. Had lovely surroundings and walks, very peaceful and relaxing.
Mrs Roxby, Dorset
,The Lodge was beautiful, far better than the pictures showed. Loved the open plan kitchen/living area and the bed was very comfortable. There was a very nice pub a 2 minute walk away.
Mrs Baldes, Norfolk
,Well equipped lodge and beautifully decorated. Lovely tranquil surroundings, gardens very well kept. Felt like we were left to it and it was very private.
,A beautiful Lodge in peaceful surroundings. There were interesting things to do close at hand.
,It was outstanding the owners and staff were helpful and friendly, fantastic accommodation couldn't fault it.
Mrs Nettleton, West Yorkshire
,Liked the hospitality of the owner and the amazingly modern yet cosy design of the Lodge.
,Elm Lodge is a really comfortable lodge in beautiful setting. Just perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of working in the South East.
Ms Sherlock, Non US
,This is a fantastic place to stay. The lodges are set off the road with ample parking. The pub, although close, was very quiet. Collecting the key was no issue, with a member of staff coming to lodge to show us around on arrival. This is a great location of getting around the Forest of Dean. Gloucester, Monmouth, Hereford are all within easy reach.
