An excellent lodge, beautifully furnished and beds so comfortable! A peaceful setting and the owners go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Would recommend to everyone.

,It was a cosy restful break, property was furnished in a cosy yet contemporary fashion. Very handy to have the pub and its restaurant in walking distance too. We would love to return and hope the standard is kept as high as this visit.

April 2015

,The lodge is to an excellent standard, in a lovely location which was peaceful and restful. An ideal location if you want to get away from everything and relax.
Mrs Martin,
April 2015

,The Lodge was absolutely fantastic. The hospitality was excellent and the accommodation was absolutely gorgeous. It was spacious, well equipped, exceptionally clean and the grounds were beautifully landscaped and maintained. The peace and solitude of the area enveloped us from the time we arrived. The birdsong was absolutely beautiful. The pub, to which the accommodation belongs, served the most amazing food and, if you wanted it, the pub would serve your food to the Lodge if required. I would recommend this Lodge to anybody looking for peace, tranquillity and a relaxing holiday.

,What a hidden gem! We had never visited this particular area before and we were bowled over by the area and how well the lodges worked into the environment. There are beautiful views, silence and tranquillity. The lodge itself was spotless with such lovely décor. It was extremely well equipped and was a perfect place to relax. The owners of the property were lovely and not in any way intrusive, they were readily available but just allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. Honestly, we can not fault Oak Lodge and hope to return soon.

,The owners were extremely welcoming and were happy to help out if we needed anything. The area was perfect for walking and it was a great location to visit several tourist attractions. The pub served great food which was more than plentiful. The owners made you feel special but never intruded on the vacation. It was perfect, we are booking again for the same time next year.
