This is a very comfortable house with plenty of room for large parties; we were 8 adults aged 21 to 63, two teens and a one year old plus the dogs. We could spread out and come together and there were no queues for bathrooms.
,A great house for a family and friends get together, there are plenty of rooms to be on your own or with others. The garden is fabulous for my 4 small grandchildren to play safely. Could walk to the beach or shops without having to drive. There is a great view of the Mere from the upper rooms and a large area for parking in front of the house.
Mrs Storey, East Riding of Yorkshire
,An excellent property for a three generation family get together.
Mrs Gilbert, South Yorkshire
,The location of the property and Hornsea itself were both excellent, and the surrounding area offers lots of variety along the coast and inland. The property is amazing and is obviously being progressively updated which can only be good for future guests.
Mr Carter, Derbyshire
,The spaciousness of the property gave us the freedom to be together as 3 generations or to have some time apart. Grandpa and grandson loved the piano. The garden was superb and we all loved fossil hunting on the nearby beaches. Parking for our 2 large cars was more than adequate with easy access and no awkward manoeuvring.
Mrs Walters, South Yorkshire
,The house was ideal for our purpose and located in the town close to all services - clean tidy and well presented. Will visit again for certain.
Mr Dennis, Warwickshire
,It was a lovely, spacious house of generous proportions; an excellent property for our family of four generations to come together for a holiday whilst having their own space when needed or desired. The garden and views over the Mere were excellent and the location was central yet wonderfully quiet. A fabulous and treasured experience.
Mrs Fortnum, Lincolnshire
,We had excellent service from start to finish and the property and garden were beautiful. The house was extremely well equipped and resourced, we wanted for nothing. The whole process from booking to leaving was very smooth. Would definitely visit again.
Ms Goodall, South Yorkshire
,A lovely large cottage with a fantastic large garden. Enjoyed everything about the cottage and would definitely go back again. Even the little dog was in her glory running around the garden.
Mr Stewart, staffordshire
,We have had many self-catering holidays over the years and can honestly say none of the properties have matched this one. I am not sure what the tourist board star rating is but it's not enough. The house is so spacious and light that we could all have our own space without getting on top of each other. The furnishings are homely and comfortable and there were plenty of chairs to go around. The garden is a delight and the piano is an added bonus especially with my grandson and his grandpa! A lovely relaxing holiday all round.
Mrs Walters, South Yorkshire
,A lovely old house, very well kitted out for the 11 of us for our stay. The garden was great for sitting in the sun sipping cocktails. It is very secluded and private even though it is so convenient for everything. A superb and we are looking forward to many return visits!
Mrs Rowell, Stirlingshire
