The cottage was well appointed, especially having a fire place which added ambience on cold nights.
Hosts were great and very obliging, the area was great, only drawback is we did not have enough time to explore the area in depth, maybe next time.
,Had a very lovely stay the owners were welcoming and went over and above when any info/help was required.
,A beautiful place to stay, we had a wonderful time. The cottage is warm and cosy and the attention to detail is fabulous. Can't wait to return!
Mrs Curtis, Nottinghamshire
,An awesome long weekend at the cottage. The place was immaculate, had all the things you would need and was a pleasure to stay in. We loved the fire which was a nice attribute to the cottage. WiFi was a bonus as there isn't really any mobile signal. All in all, a great weekend in the south/west lakes.
Mr Hales, Wiltshire
,"The cottage was warm and a haven to return to after a day on the hills. The log burner was well used and the kitchen was large and well equipped. Parking was right outside, and the location was handy for Barrow and access to Southern Lakes."
Mr Backhouse, West Yorkshire
,Outstanding luxurious and comfortable with really friendly warm hosts.
Mr Robinson, Surrey
,A lovely cottage with very friendly and helpful owners. We hope to return soon.
Mr Hart, Essex
,The Cottage was perfect for a couple, beautifully decorated and furnished. The wood burning stove was lovely on a wet and miserable night and even without that, the cottage was cosy thanks to good radiators. This was our first holiday rental as a couple and it has set a high standard for future breaks!
Mrs Fagan, North Ayrshire
,This was definitely the best holiday accommodation we have had! The proprietors were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this property.
Mr Ridout, Dorset
,I Loved how quiet the location was, the size of the cottage, your own car parking space, and the people who owned the cottage were very friendly.
Mr Walters, Tyne And Wear
,Absolutely superb, one of the best places we have stayed.
Mrs Burgon, Northumberland
,The cottage was beautiful and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Mr Meaking, Warwickshire
,We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners promised a good start to our holiday. The cottage was very well appointed, comfortable and soon felt like home. Beck Cottage is a good base to explore a lesser known part of Cumbria but with easy access to the lakes.
