We had a lovely stay at Christmas cottage - a great, well-presented and comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings. It was a nice touch to have a ready supply of wood for the log burner. It's very well situated for Whitby and the surrounding coast either by car- but even better by train from Glaisdale straight into the middle of Town and no parking hassles. We'd love to stay again!
Mr Silverside, West Yorkshire
,My wife, two girls and I loved Christmas Cottage. It was a very warm and welcoming place with spectacular views, we will definitely book again and recommend the cottage to family and friends.
Mr Woods, East Riding of Yorkshire
,A lovely cottage with amazing views, and the owner was very pleasant. This was our second time visiting this cottage and we would recommend this cottage most highly.
Mrs Lister, Cheshire
,It wasn't just a rented cottage, it was a home from home, every single detail was thought of and the cottage was full of charm. The décor was charming, the position was beautiful and it was in excellent condition. This is by far the nicest cottage that we have stayed in and I would recommend it very highly.
Mrs Hamoud, Argyll and Bute
,A beautifully located cottage that had everything you needed with a very helpful and friendly owner. Lovely local shop/ post office a couple of minutes walk away and Arncliffe Arms just a short drive or a steep walk; best Sunday lunch ever!
Ms Waller, Buckinghamshire
,A lovely cottage, could have moved in.
Mrs Wright, Norfolk
,We were looking for a complete getaway from it all, and that's what we got with Christmas Cottage. Would definitely recommend and it was a real downer having to leave.
Mrs Freeman, Derbyshire
,We liked the peace and quiet and the close proximity of some very beautiful walks. The local shop and butchers were both within a few minutes walk and were welcoming and helpful. The views from the cottage were wonderful and the sound of owls at night added to the country feel. We arrived on a fairly cold and wet day but the cottage heating made it a very cosy and welcoming place to be; the log burner added the final touch of home comfort.
