Property Feedback

Very good location for visiting the area. The park &ride at Rawcliffe particularly good for visiting York. Cottage excellent, owners very friendly. Welcome pack most appreciated.
Mr Manger,
October 2014

,The property was of the highest standard, the nicest we have ever had. The owners were very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Would certainly recommend.
Mrs Jones, Northumberland
November 2014

,The cottage is located near to York for culture and shopping but is a few minutes away from the Howardian Hills for walking and enjoying the countryside. It is also strategically located for eating out at several award winning village pubs. The building itself has underfloor heating so that whilst the outside temperature was around zero we did not need to light the wood burner. Having visited extensively in the York area I can say that this cottage is the best home from home we have stayed in.
Mr Pennell, Staffordshire

,Very high standard of furnishing, the beds were really comfortable. Warm and cosy. We have stayed in many cottages in the area and this was the best!
Dr Moorey,
February 2015

,What an absolute jewel of a cottage. Everything was as described, the owners were so welcoming and the cottage was really modern & clean. The people and the area were so welcoming, there were so many places to visit and eat. What a great place to enjoy our 33rd wedding anniversary, we would love to return to this property. Wonderful.
Mr Pearce, Derbyshire
March 2015

,By far the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. The Cottage contained everything you could possibly need and more and a lot of thought went into the d├ęcor when furnishing this property. We were spoilt for choice when it came to the bathroom(s) but loved the wet room. Had spectacular views from the kitchen window and was central for everywhere North of the City of York. Unfortunately, our week stay seemed to come to an end all too soon!
Mrs Hopkins, Norfolk
April 2015

,Barn Owl Cottage is a beautiful, luxurious and very comfortable cottage with everything you could want or need. We would definitely come here again. The cleaning of the property is immaculate and the owners are very kind and welcoming. Brandsby is a perfect place to visit the Yorkshire Moors or Dales.
Mrs Van Aken-blok,

Ms Tagg, North Ayrshire
November 2015

,Barn Owl Cottage was decorated beautifully and better than we expected. The underfloor heating and wood burning stove were a bonus especially as it was a brisk week, however we did have plenty of sunshine bearing in mind the time of year. The outlook over the rolling Howardian Hills was stunning. And the owner made us very welcome when we arrived, and explained if there were any issues her door was always open. We were sad to leave.
Mr Bryden,
March 2016

,The presentation was second to none and the quality of the property would equal the best my wife and I have ever stayed in.
Mr Hepper,

,Liked the beautiful cottage and surroundings, and the friendly welcome and attention to all our needs, both in the cottage itself and when we requested any additional help.
Dr Harrison, County Antrim
