The cottage is very cosy with an amazing view of the lake. Well equipped with a lovely fire place. The location of Coniston is very tranquil and relaxing and central to see the rest of the Lake District or go on amazing walks.

,Accommodation was beautifully fitted out, cosy and with a terrific view. Quietly located but with a 7am-10pm convenience store just a 10 minute walk away & 3 pubs on hand too. Gorgeous walks also right from the doorstep meaning you could forget about the car for the weekend.
Mr Page, Norfolk
,My Christmas holiday was lovely due to this cottage and location. The owner was friendly and helpful and drove us the final steps to our cottage. The option of an open fire and starter pack was fabulous as it was too late to head out to buy some on arrival. Coniston was beautiful and villages around it too.
,We really enjoyed our stay and particularly liked the amazing view across Lake Coniston and the quiet location. The property was very tastefully furnished, well equipped, comfortable and cosy.
,We had a great break at Tanderra. Even though we went in a cold, overcast March, the cottage was a warm, well presented home to come back to after a days adventuring. In a great location set above (but in walking distance to) Coniston village, the views you get across the lake are really superb. Its also just near one of the main tracks up the Old Man of Conniston - if you can drag yourself away from the cottages open log fire.
Mr Wells, Hertfordshire
,A clean & well kept property which enabled us to relax immediately. Fabulous views & location. The extra touches on arrival made it more special and felt welcome. The owner was a really nice friendly lady too. Can't fault a thing.
Mrs Chapman, South Yorkshire
,We loved the outlook from the cottage onto the lake and that it was just a few minutes walk from local shops and pubs/restaurants. An idyllic setting for a relaxing and also adventurous holiday!
Mrs Hunt, West Midlands
,Tanderra Cottage overlooked Coniston Lake and the view was amazing. The Cottage felt like a home from home, it was clean, well equipped and very cosy. We hope to go back next year. Everything about our holiday was perfect.
Mr Lee, East Sussex
,A cosy cottage, well presented furnishing-wise, fantastic views.
,The cottage had everything we needed and was cosy and clean. The beds were super comfy and we enjoyed making fires in the evening on the lovely cast iron fireplace.
,The views over Coniston lake were incredible, the balcony was small but perfect for taking in the surroundings. The cottage is lovely and in good location for exploring the Lake District.
