The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The open fire was lovely, a very nice cosy place to stay. A great base for walking.

Mrs Allsop, Derbyshire
,This cottage is set in a very quiet area of Gilwern and yet very near to all amenities. The cottage was rustic, spacious, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable enabling a good nights sleep for all. The countryside around you here is stunning and the canal is nearby too, which we walked along to Crickhowell.
,The cottage was well equipped and the owners very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property to others and plan to stay here again.
Mr Aldridge, East Sussex
,A very warm welcome from the host but totally felt it was our home for the stay. Had a beautiful garden and was very well located. Would definitely come back again.
,The peaceful countryside location, with splendid views, it's overall ambience and spaciousness as well as the welcome from the owners all contributed to making it a most enjoyable holiday.
Mrs Barber, Durham
,Peaceful location, spacious accommodation and a lovely area.
Mr Swindells, Derbyshire
,A lovely spacious house, which was really nice and warm on a cold week. There were views of hills and mountains from each room. There was a nice comfy bed and a great porch for removing outdoor gear before getting in the house. There was an outside shelter for bikes and the owner was lovely and friendly.
Ms Fuell, Devon

Mr Warley, West Sussex
,We really enjoyed the peaceful location and the warm welcome from the owners. This is an ideally situated cottage for the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. I would definitely return to here. With the open fire it would be very cosy in the winter.
