Kirkcudbright offers an ideal destination for a relaxing family holiday, and The Townhouse is the perfect base from which to explore the area. The property is a sympathetically restored and renovated Georgian townhouse dating from 1801 which has been decorated to a high standard with abespoke country kitchen with marble worktops and beautiful bedrooms with king size beds. The Townhouse is located in the centre of Kirkcudbright, on the beautiful north Solway shore. Many original features remain in this delightful holiday home, including fireplaces in the sitting room and bedroom, original polished timber floors throughout and a staircase with exposed beams. The pretty harbour with its selection of shops, cafes and pubs, and walking or cycling opportunities are on your doorstep.

Liked the position of the house and its accessibility to the town and amenities. The way the house is appointed and the furnishings made for a relaxing, home from home feeling.
,The house was lovely and big and the bedrooms were to die for! The standard was excellent throughout.

,The standard of The Townhouse was far higher than we usually get for much the same money. It is well-sited, well-equipped and excellent value. We would certainly rebook when back in Galloway.
