Property Feedback

This beautiful cottage is cosy and warm and in a lovely, tranquil setting. Ideal for walks and not far from an excellent bus service to Ripon, Harrogate and Leeds. We keep coming back and are never disappointed. Can thoroughly recommend.

,The location was great and the facilities were great. The cottage was warm when we arrived. The accommodation is perfect for a short stay, close enough to the attractions in the area and secluded enough for peace and tranquillity. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We had a perfect stay.
Mr Keetley, Nottinghamshire
November 2014

,We love the tranquil setting and being close to a quiet, pretty village with its shop/post office, pubs and old church. A pleasant walk down the lane to the main road (approx 15 mins) with its lovely scenery takes you to a frequent and reliable bus service to Ripon, Harrogate and Leeds and runs late in the evening - a path goes all the way down so you can walk in safety but at night take a torch! The cottage is clean cosy and warm, great to get in after a day's walking in the cold or rain. The owners live next door and are friendly and helpful but they never invade your privacy. Good parking space, too. Can recommend.

,This is without doubt one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. The property is immaculate and very cleverly designed for comfortable living. In a very quiet location in a small village, yet close to all facilities. Couldn't get a better base from which to explore the magnificent Yorkshire countryside.

,The cottage was furnished with everything you could possibly need for two people. Nothing had been overlooked to ensure every comfort, and the welcome pack was more than gratefully received.

October 2015

,This was our second stay at this cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Nothing has been overlooked in the furnishings of the house from ample crockery and cutlery to pans and roasting tins. Within five minutes of unpacking, we immediately felt at home.
Mrs Burney, Cheshire
October 2015

,We found the property very warm and cosy. It was very handy for Harrogate and the surrounding areas, it was a little gem!
Mrs Eades,
February 2016

,The owners are particularly nice people, and offered help with anything to do with the area, including walks or places to visit. The cottage is really one of the best we have been to, with a kitchen area equipped as well as you could want. Including a fridge freezer, high quality microwave with grill, dishwasher and washing machine. I would recommend this cottage.
Mr Purdom, Berkshire
