The cottage was more spacious than it appeared in the photos. A very peaceful environment with just sheep and pheasants for company. The location between 2 coasts was superb once we had overcome the road system! Ideal for children with large grassy area.

,Stonewind farm is a lovely quiet retreat set in a beautiful part of the island. The owner was really helpful and friendly and greeted us when we arrived. We hope to go back next year
Mrs Scarlett, Northamptonshire
,This is the perfect country cottage for anyone looking for peace and quiet, but with easy proximity to Freshwater and West Wight. It's peaceful, private and sits in pretty gardens next to a field with sheep, pheasants and rabbits. The owner is so helpful and friendly, but will leave you alone throughout your stay, unless you need anything. The shops and cafes at Freshwater (including a wonderful bookshop/teashop) are within a pleasant 15 minute stroll if you don't want to take the car or need to carry heavy shopping. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back!
