Local area was stunning, beautiful scenery and so quiet. Walks from the cottage were wonderful. So much wildlife on the doorstep.
Mrs Marvell-stewart, Leicestershire
,It was so nice to stay at Brookleigh. We loved it - a proper home-from-home and would definitely recommend. We had dinner at The Crown in the village which was excellent; one of the best pub meals we've had in a long time.
Mrs King, Surrey
,The cottage was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious.
Mr Strachan, East Riding of Yorkshire
,We loved it and will definitely be back, amazing views of the village and a fantastic situation for exploring North Yorkshire.
Mr Onions, West Yorkshire
,I loved Brookleigh. The cottage, ambiance, peace and location exceeded all expectations. Was a superb base too for my professional landscape and travel photography. Highly recommended and the cottage interior was like a home from home. Missing it badly and was sad to leave. My compliments to the owner.
,A comfortable well equipped cottage in a lovely area.
Mrs White, Somerset
,Beautiful cottage, fantastic location, spotlessly clean and we loved it!
Mrs Charles, Hampshire
,Brookleigh was perfect. We loved our stay there. We particularly enjoyed watching the birds in the garden. The cottage is ideally situated in the village. We liked it so much that I have just rebooked for 2016.
,Lovely warm and well equipped cottage.
Mrs Hutty, East Riding of Yorkshire
,Brookleigh Cottage is a lovely cottage in a wonderful location. Easy for exploring both countryside and coast . The bonus for us was being able to take our Dogs.
Ms Drew, West Midlands
,Great cottage, more spacious than the photos looked. Excellent location with lovely views.
Miss Bailey, Greater Manchester
,Fantastic cottage in a superb position overlooking the village stream. It was a good size even for four adults, one child and a dog.
Mr Henderson, Cheshire
,This was our second visit to this cottage. Everything was as we expected to find it. The situation of the cottage in the village is perfect. The furnishings are very homely. The garden is very private and many different birds visited the bird feeders during the week, which gave us a lot of pleasure.
,Brookleigh is full of character and the location could not be better. Such a peaceful setting with only the sound of bird song, sheep and the beck which runs close to the property. Just across the village green are cafes selling light lunches and great ice cream. We had some good food at the local pub in the evening.
,A lovely old fashioned cottage with plenty of room and space for 4 people and two dogs. The kitchen has everything one could possible need to self cater. In the loveliest village with the loveliest views. Perfect location to visit other quaint surrounding villages also, and the comfiest beds to flop into at the end of the day.
Mrs Peddieson, Midlothian
