The area was beautiful, with lots of walking to do nearby and interesting places a short journey away. The property was fabulous - large, unique and with some very cool features. There was a big garden for our dog and children to roam about.
Miss Needham, West Yorkshire
,The décor and style of the place was truly unique, it has been so cleverly put together, so many interesting touches.
,It was a lovely peaceful break. The house was amazing - really unique and quirky. Great just to relax in, it had everything we needed.
Mr Kenyon, North Yorkshire
,We were inspired by the imagination that went into this property. It was relaxed, a wonderful place to chill out. Enjoyed walks around the village and the Howgills. Had a gorgeous view across the Howgills, changing with the moods of the weather. We enjoyed visiting the Yorkshire Dales and seeing Spring Gentians in Teesdale. It was also very accessible for the Lake District and Eden Valley.
,An absolutely brilliant place to stay, very quirky but my wife and I loved it. Exactly as described and in a lovely location.
Mr Robson, Durham
,Absolutely wonderful place, the view out of the windows, the slightly bizarre but beautiful and romantic, decoration, the roll top bath, the heavy curtains, the books, the comfortable and luxurious bed, the wood burner. Perfect.
,Really enjoyed our stay in the heart of the Lake District. The Gatehouse was lovely with a great garden, WiFi, TV and a wood burner to entertain the kids and the adults. Loved the piano.
Mr Dixon, Flintshire
,Loved The Gatehouse; loved the décor, the open plan design and it's location. The boys enjoyed the hammock in the living room. We also loved the bedroom and the bathroom.
Mrs Stokes, Somerset
,This is a very chic cottage with an interior that I defy anyone to find elsewhere for us. It was awesome and our two dogs loved it too. We will be going again.
