A very large barn which at the same time felt cosy.
Mrs Davies, Northamptonshire
,We have stayed in many holiday homes in goathland and this is by far the best. We could bring extra family than usual as it’s so big. The barn is huge yet very homely and it has everything you could want. The barn has been designed beautifully and it really is amazing. It’s got all the facilities you could need plus under floor heating. It's lovely to feel the heat on your feet, no expense has been spared converting this property. It is very clean and we couldn't fault the cleanliness. Would definitely visit again.
,This was our 2nd visit to Long Barn and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The place is just perfect to unwind and is located in such an idyllic setting. The under floor heating and the log burners make the place so warm and cosy whilst an ice cold wind was blowing outside. The place is immaculate and contains everything you need. We ventured on several walks from the doorstep and advise the 3 mile circular walk which takes you on a lovely scenic stroll. The owners and the housekeeper were superb. Will be visiting again very soon.
Mr Thompson, Greater Manchester
,This was our second visit to this location, enjoyed the first visit so much we took my brother and sister-in-law with us this time. The remoteness of this cottage is a real getaway. A brilliant holiday cottage in a wonderful location.
Ms Norton, Staffordshire
,Fantastic property in a beautiful location.
Mrs Hardy, South Yorkshire
,"Everything was fabulous..the views were spectacular, would love the Longbarn to be my home! You can dream, can't you?"
,The holiday was great - the location, facilities and even the weather. Couldn't ask for a more ideal holiday cottage, will definitely be returning.
Mrs Simmonds, West Yorkshire
,This is a beautiful property in a marvellous quiet location. It was generous with its space. The heating worked well so we were nice and cosy. It was very well equipped and very good value. We'd hope to be able to stay there again at some point.
Mr Murfin, Essex
,We all really enjoyed our stay at The Long Barn. The cottage was in a lovely peaceful location with fabulous views and it was great to watch the steam trains go by. We were able to enjoy walks straight from the property and we can't wait to go back.
Mrs Lewis, Lincolnshire
,The setting was beautiful and the property spacious and well equipped. It was lovely to have the steam trains running past the bottom of the garden. Walks from the house were an added bonus and ideal with our dog.
Ms Benbow, Cumbria
,We had such a brilliant family gathering here. A real retreat in a beautiful and well equipped place. It felt like home. Everything we needed and more. We also loved sitting by the fire watching the steam trains.
,The Long Barn was a superb conversion of a traditional barn giving lots of space for the numbers of people it could sleep. Having three generations there for a fabulous Christmas, there was always enough space for everyone to do whatever they wanted. I think the use and availability of space and the way The Long Barn was set out is one of its features that will draw us back again as an extended family.
,We liked the first class accommodation at Long Barn and the quality of everything.
Mr Sturman, Lincolnshire
,The location was very quiet and remote which was great. It was very unique to have steam trains at the bottom of the garden.
Mr Ruffell, Hampshire
,A peaceful setting with fabulous views and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam trains running past the end of the garden.
Mrs Fox, West Yorkshire
,The Long Barn had it all a beautiful house with top quality furniture equipped with everything you could possibly need, all set in a stunning location.
