Superb accommodation with very helpful but not intrusive owners next door. We would recommend without hesitation and return should we go back to this area.
Mr Whitfield, North Yorkshire
,Liked the cleanliness, the owners and the perfect and idyllic surroundings. Simply wonderful, we can't wait to return.
Mr Sargent, Kent
,It was a great relaxing break. A home away from home, I arrived late at night to a toasty warm cottage. The owners allowed me to get on with my stay and did not disturb, only to check in to see if more fire wood was needed. An excellent cottage that I will recommend highly to all.
Miss Chhokar, Middlesex
,I liked the location of the cottage, there was no one about for miles.
Mr Winter, Lincolnshire
,Liked being welcome in a quiet, remote part of beautiful Shropshire, with good pubs for evening meals when we wished to do that. The cottage was comfortable and provided everything we needed.
,If you want to get away from it all this is the cottage for you.
Mrs Palmer, Cumbria
, Everything was perfect! The high standard of the cottage, the surroundings and the owners help and consideration.
Mrs Brent, West Midlands
,The cottage is beautiful. A great combination of old stone character with more modern fixtures and fittings. Very well kept, peaceful and the wood burner was a real treat for a couple of lazy and cooler evenings and the owners kept us well stocked. Nearby we managed to squeeze a few things in in 4 days, namely Shrewsbury town centre, the local pub for a lovely lunch (The Bottle & Glass) around 1.5 miles away, Church Stretton (Long Mynd walk) and the Ragleth Inn (Little Stretton) for another nice lunch. I would highly recommend this cottage.
Mr Halket, Greater Manchester
,Lovely location to get away from it all and there were some really nice welcome touches at the cottage.Owners were on hand if we needed anything but not at all intrusive.
Miss Cockitt, West Midlands
,The cottage is furnished to a high standard and was cosy and welcoming. The wood burner was very efficient and kept the cottage warm, even upstairs so the insulation was amazing. It had everything you need for a short stay and the hosts made sure everything was satisfactory. Nearby pubs served delicious food and the local people were friendly everywhere we went. It was a fabulous location for walking and getting away from it all. We can highly recommended.
,The wood burning stove and unlimited logs were very welcome. The cottage is situated in beautiful countryside, with no light pollution or road noise, yet close to everywhere. The cottage is lovely and well thought out with absolutely everything you might need provided.
Ms Sciepko-cram, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr
,The Old Workshop was lovely & had everything we required. We definitely would return. There were plenty walks in the surrounding area & many nice pubs.
Mr Palethorpe, Leicestershire
,The cottage was beautifully furnished and was set in a peaceful location. It was excellently equipped in every room. It was a pleasure to stay there and we could not fault anything.
Ms Rees, Bucks
,This is a delightful place to stay with great ambience and facilities which meet all practical needs. The hosts are most hospitable. Caerleon and the surrounding district offer a wealth of historic sites and outstanding natural beauty.
