Peak District, S33 7ZG, GB
This sympathetically restored, semi-detached stone barn is in the delightful hamlet of Ollerbrook only 10 minutes walk from Edale. It is on the owner's working sheep farm and offers a high standard of accommodation that retains many of its original features. The living accommodation is bright and spacious and on open plan, the lovely kitchen is well fitted and both the dining area and comfortable, cosy sitting room has the original beams and the outlook from the windows is stunning. There are two bedrooms, both affording a tranquil atmosphere and the shower room is fresh and bright. Outside there is a lovely patio area with a shared barbecue and garden furniture, and for outside games, a shared paddock. This is a great property for a family holiday all year round.

Great property set in stunning countryside. A good base for walking locally and within easy reach of other attractions by short car journeys. Midfeather is a lovely, warm and comfortable cottage to return to during the colder weather. It's a very well equipped cottage run by lovely hosts.
,Midfeather Cottage provided our family with a great location to relax, complete with wonderful views & very friendly & helpful owners. We will certainly be booking again later this year, & recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to relax.
Mr Young, Derbyshire
,The general location of the cottage is great for walking direct from the door. The owner is very friendly and helpful and keeps the cottage in a first rate condition. We have already decided that if possible we will return later in the year.
Mr Clarke, Cambridgeshire
,We have been taking cottage holidays for the past 20years and this has to be one of the cleanest and with the highest standard of furnishings that we have been to. The property had the wow factor as soon as we opened the front door. The owner was helpful without being intrusive and was there when needed. 10 out of 10.
Mrs Shaw, Essex
,We all very much enjoyed our visit; the cottage was perfect for us in terms of layout as it lent itself perfectly to cooking and socialising. The dishwasher made a massive difference too. The bedrooms were a nice size and very comfortable. The property was surrounded by stunning countryside and the owners were very friendly and available if we needed them. We will definitely go back one day.
,The cottage had everything that you could possibly need and the area was fantastic. It was also spotlessly clean - highly recommended.
,A superbly equipped cottage decorated to a very high standard. The owners were superb and couldn't do enough for us. We had a brilliant holiday and would recommend Midfeather to anyone visiting the Peak District.
Mr Page, Surrey
,Absolutely loved this cottage, it's set in a beautiful location, with lots of walks nearby. Will definitely be back.
Mr Hindry, Suffolk
,The cottage was in an excellent condition and immaculate which made a great impression from the start of the holiday. The owners of the cottages were always very pleasant and sociable making it a pleasure to stay in their farm.
