An excellent property, having everything necessary for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. A brilliant location just 0.7 miles from Pooley Bridge - a lovely walk to the the Sun Inn by the river- well positioned for varied walks along the lakeside and up on the fells as well as bike rides and also the steamer on the lake.

Mr Dallow, Gloucestershire
,Really good spacious accommodation. It was well equipped and in an interesting setting on a working farm.
,A wonderful cottage in an ideal location. Had friendly, helpful owners.
Mr Mclellan, Surrey
,Barn End is set on a farm in a beautiful location. The accommodation was very clean & furnished to a very high standard. The bath in the bedroom was great to relax in after days out. The wood burner in the living room was great fun although it is not necessary to use it unless you want to as there is no shortage of heat in the cottage. It was very nice to be able to walk to Pooley Bridge approx five minutes stroll along the river. All in all a lovely cottage in a beautiful location.

,Fab little cottage on a little working farm, plenty of parking and it was like being in a home away from home. The cottage was very warm and cosy and having the wood-burner was even more of a luxury ,didn't use it much as the heating was amazing!

,A fabulous cottage - cosy and really quite luxurious! In a stunning location.
,The cottage was beautiful and surpassed our expectations, the pictures certainly do not do it justice. We had everything we needed for our two young children and more. We would definitely stay at Barn End again and would recommend it to friends and family.
Mrs Day, Buckinghamshire
,Far exceeded our expectations. Everything was equipped to a high standard and tastefully decorated. Roll top bath was good after some long walks during the time we were there. The walk- in shower in the bathroom was exceptional. The location was in easy walking distance to Pooley Bridge, which was about 10 minutes.
