This property is one of the best that we have ever been to. The owners are helpful, friendly and have made the property a real home from home, it has everything you could want, let alone need. The surrounding area is all you could ask for, great local towns and fabulous countryside. All in all, one of the best places we have been, we would strongly recommend this area and this property.
Mrs Harper-Elberts, Hertfordshire
,First class property in an ideal location. The Whitestonecliffe Arms is a brisk 10 minute walk & serves great food, no need to cook. The owners & their family are so friendly & welcoming. The Granary is spacious, light & airy with beautiful simple furnishing. The beds are really comfy. The eco heating system is warm & keeps the property cosy. Would have loved to have returned next month, but they are full.
Mrs Mahan, Greater Manchester
,The Granary was in an excellent location for both the dales and the moors. We found it to be quiet and peaceful despite it being on a working farm. The owners were wonderful hosts. The alpacas, chickens, friendly dog and cat made for a very homely, comfortable stay.
Mrs Garrod, Norfolk
,The Granary is one of the nicest, most comfortable locations I have stayed in. The Cottage was warm and spacious, the kitchen was very well equipped and the bathrooms were very clean and modern. I can't recommend it highly enough.
,This practical yet stylish cottage far exceeded our expectations. The welcome, friendliness and helpfulness of the owners enhanced the experience. The courtyard seating and access to the barbecue added to our enjoyment of the outdoors. The central location gave good access to the moors, the coast and the dales.
Mrs Thomas, Kent
,The Granary is a home from home, one of the best cottages I've stayed in and I will definitely be returning. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anybody.
Miss Hammond, West Yorkshire
,The Granary is excellently appointed and handy to all that the area has to offer. It was our second visit and although late October rather than the summer of our first visit, The Granary was warm and welcoming.
,The Granary was much more than we expected. It's a gem. The owners were very helpful. All items in the description were available. Couldn't be happier.
,The Granary was so incredibly comfortable. The couches were perfect for relaxing at the end of the day; the courtyard tables were perfect for an early morning coffee in the sun, or a late afternoon glass of wine with a book. Our kids loved the alpacas, piglets, sheep, chickens and cows. The 8:30am feeding was the highlight of the holiday for the kids! Very convenient location and already recommended to friends and colleagues.
,A lovely property set in beautiful surroundings, run by friendly accommodating hosts.
Mrs Francis, Essex
,The property was easy to find and well located close to Thirsk, the National Park and other attractions such as Fountains Abbey & Bolton Castle. The owners were extremely helpful and provided lots of tourist information in the cottage. We would be more than happy to stay in the cottage again and we have no hesitation in recommending this property.
