The Lodge is ideal in every way - fantastic quality, positioning and exactly what we were looking for. It is ideally located for travel and shopping but slightly off the main route which allowed us to feel as though we were totally isolated. We spent many nights snuggled together on the couch, sharing a bottle of wine, reflecting on the day’s activities, all ending with a sauna in the wet room to soothe our aching muscles. We also had the joy of watching the Pine Martens who visited the Lodge nightly to feed. Complete bliss.
,The lodge was even better than we had hoped. Highly recommended.
Mr Pointon, Lancashire
,A characterful property with comfortable bed and lovely views. The location felt rural but was central.
Ms Young, North Yorkshire
,The Lodge was outstanding, it felt like you were in the middle of nowhere yet it was a 10 minute walk to all amenities. We'll definitely return!
,The Lodge itself was excellent and well placed for the town, with great views of the Loch.
Mr Wilde, Durham
,The cottage was fantastic with great views.
,The whole scenery of the house was magnificent. It felt like being in the middle of nature, but the centre of the town is only 10 minutes away by foot. In the house, you can feel that the owner made it and decorated it with love.
Mr Hackmann-gons, Nederland
,The décor was lovely, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the sauna was 'top-notch.' The log cabin felt secluded and it was nice being surrounded by woods.
Mrs Rielly, North Ayrshire
,A fabulous holiday - loved the peace and relaxation after a busy Christmas. This is a great lodge which was exactly what I wanted: a winter lodge in the hills but with a five star "warm" feeling, for my young children. We loved the sauna and the outdoor decking too!
,We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage. The location is great as it's quiet with a great view but very quick to get into town.
Mr Clarke, Hampshire
,This property is fantastic. A short walk from local amenities but set back on a hill so it is remote and secluded. You wake up hearing bird song and sit on the deck of an evening listening to the gentle sound of the stream flowing under the access bridge. It exceeded our expectations.
Mrs Flynn, West Yorkshire
,We had a brilliant week with fantastic weather. Acorn Lodge is very close to the centre of Fort William but the position of it feels like you are in middle of the woods. It has amazing views from the balcony and is great for wildlife watching. We saw a red deer, pine marten and several species of birds. Definitely hope to stay there again.
,Everything about Acorn Lodge was wonderful. The location was great and the views were spectacular.
