Beautiful location, cottage finished to a very high standard, very lovely to look at and live in. Owner very friendly and lovely. We definitely will come back.
,A wonderful cottage in a beautiful village on the edge of the North York Moors. Perfect for walking, cycling or just relaxing in front of the open fire with a good book and a glass of wine. The owners were wonderful hosts. The cottage has everything you could want for plus more. We highly recommend Lastingham Grange Hotel further up the lane, their afternoon teas are wonderful

Mr Thomas, Tyne and Wear
,The cottage is located on the edge of the moors, surrounded by trees and plenty of wild birds. Convenient hotel nearby for delicious coffees and cream teas. A cosy cottage with good heating and beautiful views from all the bedrooms. Would rent the property again.
Dr Kelly, Oxfordshire
,Lovely cottage and we appreciated the sound of silence; there was nothing at all to disturb the tranquillity. The owners were most helpful and overall this was a super location for some 'down' time.
,An excellent location, it was peaceful and quiet. The Cottage was superb.
Mrs Rothwell, Essex
,A lovely spacious cottage in great location.
Ms Hawkins, Oxfordshire
,Lovely Cottage with very friendly, helpful owners next door. Cottage so comfortable and equipped to a high standard. Walking onto the moors just 200 yards from the front door.
Mrs Stokes, Norfolk
,The cottage was clean & warm when we arrived. The underfloor heating on the ground floor was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped and had a large table & chairs and there was still loads of space. The bath & rain shower facility in the bedroom is unusual and excellent and there is also an en-suite, a main bathroom and a downstairs loo. There were loads of games & DVDs for kids and there is a landline with internet access provided. The town is peaceful and there is a pub & a hotel that serve superb food, both within walking distance.
Mr Brown, West Yorkshire
, Tranmire Cottage was perfect for our needs and had a lovely, warm, cosy feeling. We received a warm welcome from the owners.
