The cottage 'Skiddaw' oozes the charm and cosiness that one could hope for as a getaway destination for Christmas. Walking in, one could really leave any chaos behind and settle in for a calming and restful stay. The cottage however does provide an excellent location to explore the heart of the Lake District and should you feel up for it, walks for all abilities.

,It is in a great location for walking several Wainwrights. The cottage has plenty of character and is in a very peaceful location.
Mr Yewlett, Lancashire
