Two bedrooms offer enough accommodation to sleep up to five people and the living area is arranged in an open-plan fashion. There is plenty of space downstairs, with a spacious dining room, sitting room and a well-equipped kitchen. French windows open onto a private patio and there is also a balcony on the first floor, offering stunning views of the Esk. Visitors have access to a shared lawned garden and, in the colder months, the cottage warmed by central-heating throughout. A wonderful property at any time of year.

The location was peaceful and the house comfortable. It was great to watch the rabbits on an evening. There is a lovely walk into Whitby with good views.
Miss Wood, West Yorkshire
,The cottage was well situated with a 20 minute walk into the centre of Whitby and a view across the river to the steam railway.
,Had a great week and the cottage was ideal for long walks with the dog. A great location and well equipped cottage.
,Maplebeck was in a wonderful setting; peaceful and very near to Whitby and the Yorkshire Moors.
Mrs Paterson, Isle of Wight
,Very quiet and scenic with the wildlife on the river and the steam railway just across the river.
Mr Evans, South Yorkshire
