Wales, LL41 4BG, GB
Originally built from stone in the 1700s, this cottage has been sympathetically restored to retain much of its original charm such as exposed beams and stone walls. During the winter months the superb fireplace houses a wood-burning stove that can transform the cottage into a cosy little snug. For the hazy summer months, there is a rear garden from which you can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the distant mountains.

The house was excellent. The information pack provided by the owner was superb and very helpful in finding the hidden gems of the area that we otherwise might have missed.
Mr Nevill, Essex
,Carreg Gleision was very sweet, kitted out with everything you might need for a week away exploring North Wales.
,The cottage was cosy and supplied with all you need for a perfect break. We even had perfect weather (for Wales), which was a bonus. I like that there a several walks directly from the cottage and the location is equidistant between Dolgellau and Betws-y-Coed where there is plenty of cycling and walking. The coast is easily assessable too so there is plenty of choice for activities and scenery.
,This was a well cared for and cosy cottage. There was an enclosed garden which was ideal for pets and plenty of great walks nearby. Maps and area info was available at the cottage which was convenient.
Mr Dawson, Nottinghamshire
,A great cottage, great location and great views. What more can you ask for!
Mr Waller, South Yorkshire
,A lovely, well located, cosy cottage within easy reach of the things we wished to do. The owners had gone to considerable trouble to provide helpful information relating to the surrounding area. The equipment provided met our needs.
Mr Fox, Norfolk
