The owners had thought of everything, there was not anything we needed that was not there. The Rayburn and open fire made the holiday extra special. The property was well prepared, had great bedding and towels available to use and were all good quality.
,Myself, husband, daughter and son in law spent a week in this beautiful warm cosy cottage with bonus of an open fire in the living room. Ideal location for peace and quiet with the local Inn only a minute away. You can have a lovely scenic walk into Hawes through beautiful surrounding countryside. If you want somewhere with everything then look no further (magical). We will definitely go back.
,Faultless Dales cottage!
,A very high standard of accommodation in beautiful surroundings. The Homestead had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.
,Lovely bright clean cottage that has been tastefully refurbished to high standard. Owners provided everything could possibly need including electric blankets for cold January nights! A very enjoyable weekend - could not fault this cottage!
,A wonderful family home, very warm and inviting. Lots to do and see in the vicinity and a perfect hub from which to explore.
,A beautiful, well equipped property in a beautiful location. It is the cleanest property we have ever stayed in.
Mrs Hall, Merseyside
,Spacious, clean and well equipped and good base for exploring the Dales.
,The cottage was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. It was generally a home from home. The kitchen in particular was very well equipped. The living accommodation and two main bedrooms were very spacious and seats were comfortable.
,The location of the cottage was good. The cosy kitchen was lovely and the beds and bed linen were good. I would happily book this cottage again and would be happy to recommend it. There was nothing we needed that wasn't provided.
Mrs Love, Wiltshire
,The Homestead was absolutely, without a shadow of doubt, a fantastic well loved home from home. Everything you could have wanted was available, the views were awesome and the pub next door just rounded everything off.
Mrs Wolsey, Cornwall
,We have had a lovely week away at Homestead. The cottage is so homely and very well equipped. Nothing was missing. We loved the fires and being winter, they warmed the house really well. The beds were so comfy we had several late lie ins! We travelled as a family which included our 85 year old mother who was so comfortable we could barely get her to leave the cottage. There are good walks right from the cottage door, what more could anyone want from a holiday?
,This was out second time at the Homestead. It is a very homely cottage and we liked the décor. It was a great location to visit Hawes and surrounding area with good food at pub in Hardraw and live music; family friendly too! It was the best holiday we have had a for a while and so relaxing! We love the lounge in the cottage; it was well equipped with games and we love the character of the building and the views! Would definitely recommend!
Mrs Beedles, Greater Manchester
,The house was beautifully furnished, very clean and was perfect for our requirements. There was everything we needed there plus extra touches. The situation is beautiful and we enjoyed being next to the pub as we were a mixed family group with my two younger brothers who spent a lot of time there! Many thanks to the owners. We hope to return and would certainly recommend the cottage.
Mrs Attwood, South Yorkshire
,We loved staying at The Homestead because as soon as we walked through the front door we felt relaxed and at home. The location is superb and we love walking across the fields to do our shopping in Hawes. It's a fantastic base from which to walk and cycle. The countryside is stunning and we have already planned our return visit next year with the 'Three Peaks Challenge' firmly in mind and a cycle up to 'The Buttertubs'. The owners had made The Homestead a very welcoming place for us to be.
,This was a good base for exploring the Dales. The cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped for young children.
