We had a lovely short break. As Maxwell's House was very homely and spacious we were happy to stay in waiting for the weather to clear. Being right in Barmouth itself was ideal with no need to use the car at all during our stay. There was a good selection of shops, places to eat and things to do. All in all, an excellent stay in a lovely well furnished, well equipped house.
