We arrived to a warm welcome from the Owner who showed us around the property. The cottage was spacious, warm and cosy. The double bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The property has a ground floor wet room which would be ideal for any disabled person wishing to holiday here. The views from the property to the open countryside behind were lovely. The village was quiet having two pubs, a lovely tea room and shop but the villagers we met were all very friendly. There are lovely walks in and around the property, we did tackle the striding arches but didn't complete them all. We saw our first ever red squirrel just up one of the quiet lanes from the property.
We would definitely recommend this property and would love to return again one day.
Mrs Smith, Staffordshire
,This is definitely a five star property, we had an amazing week and we will be rebooking soon. It was spacious, nicer than the pictures and in an amazing location with really friendly owners and village. Everything has been thought about and not too much trouble. The owners really want to do everything to make sure that you have a lovely holiday. It was homely and relaxing and the dog loved it too.
,We went as a family holiday with me my partner, 3 children and our 2 dogs. We received a really warm welcome even though we arrived late at night. We had full usage of the gardens which our dogs loved. It was a home away from home and we really did not want to leave. The walk next to the house led up along the fields was easy enough to manoeuvre with all the kids and the dogs loved it. We have come home and are already planning our next visit.
,The property was spacious, warm and comfortable and convenient, being close to a good general shop was an advantage. The owner was most hospitable. We were able to visit places of interest in the area. We hope to go again next year.
Mr Simms, Cambridgeshire
,The owner was an absolute star and genuine host. The personal touches and gestures he made were the icing on an already very well presented cake. Would stay here again in a flash.

,Beautiful, extremely friendly location. Lovely accommodation, looks even better in real life with high quality furnishings and finish to the House. Really warm and comfy beds and a lovely large kitchen. Suitable for families or friends and lots of nice dog walks locally.
,Fabulous house very spacious, with every thing you could need. Fantastic garden and great that it's dog friendly. Very hospitable friendly helpful hosts. Beautiful scenery, walking distance to a shop, pub and Italian restaurant. We were extremely fortunate with wonderful weather.
Mrs Mcbain, Lincolnshire
,The peaceful setting and the warm welcome from the owners. A wonderful bonus was that the cottage had a wet room which my husband found very useful. We also loved the quality of the bedding and especially the towels.
Mrs Hastie, Tyne and Wear
,The pictures on your web site did not do this cottage justice. We were blown away with the cottage the moment we saw it. The owner of the cottage was there to meet us and he was so friendly and helpful, the inside of the cottage was amazing; everything you wanted just like a home from home. The towels and bedding were better than we have had in first class hotels! It really was a lovely cottage and what we paid for it made it even better. The grounds were lovely for the dogs to run.
Mrs Baker, Tyne and Wear

Mrs Craig, Dumfries and Galloway
