We had a lovely stay at the Shippon. The owners were excellent hosts. We especially appreciated how pet friendly they were and they took extra time to provide information on pet-friendly establishments in the area. Our dogs really enjoyed the property as well. The furnishings have been upgraded since the website pictures were taken, so it was even better than expected.

,Lovely and peaceful. It was warm and comfortable with the log fire. Bliss.
Mr Ormrod, Greater Manchester
,Very welcoming and friendly owners. It was perfectly isolated to get away from it all but near enough to town when needed. Had a big field to exercise the dog in. Bliss.
Mrs Ashworth, Lancashire
,The cottage was just delightful, thoughtfully decorated and set up, cosy and homely. The huge wood burner was a real treat! And the bed, oh my god I didn't want to leave it! The owners were excellent - friendly and helpful but not intrusive. There was a well thought out collection of films and games and plenty of info on local attractions. We were VERY happy there.
,The cottage was well equipped and in a great location. It more than met our needs and expectations.
,A beautiful cottage set in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The sounds of the countryside and rural setting was perfect for a totally chilled week.
