The cottage had a friendly atmosphere and was pretty without being over the top!
Lostwithiel is so close to the cottage it is convenient to pop in for bread and milk in the mornings and the shopkeepers are really friendly. The cafes are all good but we particularly liked the lunch at the Duchy coffee house, although we were told the others were good, too.
Eden Project was good as was the harbour at Polperro, Fowey and Lanhydrock House.

,This charming period cottage comfortably exceeded our expectations; we felt quickly at home and well looked after. We would be pleased to recommend this cottage to our friends and family, and will plan a return visit as soon as our commitments and budget allow.
Mr Taylor, Newport
,We loved our stay in Lowen Penty. The cottage was beautifully furnished, very comfortable, warm, and really cosy. It felt like a home away from home. The cottage was situated close to town.
