The property was ideally placed for all major houses, gardens and coast. Alnwick is a wonderful centre for all points North and South of the base of Sunflower Cottage.
Mr Austin, South Yorkshire
,Really loved the cottage, warm comfy, easy to live in, so clean, just felt really at home. Cannot recommend this cottage highly enough and cannot wait to go back. Many thanks
,Our 2nd time there - an excellent cottage for us to relax and unwind.
Mr Cockayne, North Yorkshire
,A beautiful traditional cottage in an excellent location. Loved the Rayburn & open fire. It was brilliantly equipped and spotlessly clean; a real home from home. We fell in love with the cottage as soon as we walked through the door. Loved the pub across the road, everyone was very friendly. The community tennis court/football pitch outside the back door was a bonus. A great base for Northumberland & Scotland. We didn't want to leave.
Mrs Butler, West Yorkshire
,Sunflower Cottage is a really lovely and well cared for cottage. It was comfortable and well furnished with lots of care and attention to detail. I finally got to play with an AGA without having to buy one, but we never got round to lighting the magnificent looking fire in the living room because it just wasn't cold enough.
Ms Wood, Leicestershire
,Absolutely gorgeous cottage in a great location. Would highly recommend to others.
Mr Macleod, Aberdeenshire
,The cottage was fabulous! Well equipped and comfortable; we loved the log burners and hot water on tap at all times. The cottage had high quality furnishings and décor, spacious rooms with character and charm. It is a terrific location with a great pub/restaurant about two minutes walk from the property. Highly recommended.
Mr Macpherson, Gloucestershire
,Lovely property in a very quiet and picturesque village but relatively close to the main amenities in Alnwick. Good access to A1 so easy to get to Northumberland's tourist attractions. Excellent holiday.
Mrs Pope, Vale of Glamorgan
,The cottage was immaculate and we felt welcome to use the facilities as our own. We had two young children and an infant and felt comfortable letting them play and explore. The location was perfect for exploring around Northumbria and we would love to return.
