We adored our time in Ashbank Cottage. We took lovely walks and enjoyed the stunning countryside views. Our favourite part was the personal aspect of staying in a cottage and meeting the owner, rather than staying in a large impersonal hotel. There was a lovely collection of books and DVDs and we felt connected to all who had stayed there before.
Miss Kearney, Oxfordshire
,The location was very quiet and tranquil with lovely views over the Dales. Quality furnishings and finishing touches to the property made it feel very welcoming.
Mrs Spurrell, Norfolk
,This was a jewel of a cottage. It was beautifully furnished and in such a lovely location. The owners are lovely people and made the holiday even better.
Mr Coe, Norfolk
,This cottage was delightful with wonderful views. It was very tastefully furnished and we were given a warm welcome by the owner. There are local maps of the area for your use and plenty of reading matter, plus binoculars for you to watch the wildlife on the lake. We certainly hope to return and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
,A lovely cottage with picturesque surroundings.
Mr Porter, South Lanarkshire
,It was a perfect cottage in an idyllic location, perfect to get away from the every day hustle and bustle of life. The Cottage and its furnishings were really cosy and homely and the welcome from the owner was warm. Views from the living room were stunning and it was so peaceful. Would recommend this to anyone and everyone, so very happy with our short stay.
,We liked the location and the views. The extremely helpful owners were warm and welcoming on arrival.
Mr Mance, United Kingdom
,We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return.
Mr Harding, Derbyshire
,The owner made us very welcome. The best thing about the cottage is the fantastic setting, we spent hours outside watching the wildlife, and listening to the curlews, and I even took up my paints again for the first time in years.
,Cosy, clean and well presented cottage. Friendly and helpful owner adding a few complimentary extras.
Mr Faulkner, Northamptonshire
,The property was beautifully decorated and had everything you would require.
