Great location. We had a good holiday and have just booked the cottage again for next September; have also recommended it to a friend this morning.
Mrs Burton, Nottinghamshire
,Beautiful cottage in an idyllic spot. The location is great for visiting Whitby and the North Yorks Moors. We loved watching the birds and seals on the river and the steam trains that passed by on the North Yorks Moors Railway Line. The cottage was so comfortable and cosy. A perfect autumn relaxing break.
Ms Dyson, Lancashire
,This is the second time we have visited Waterloo Cottage Annexe and it did not disappoint. It still has the home from home feel and has all the things you would need for a weeks stay. My husband did a spot of fishing outside the cottage and caught several fish (trout ).
Mrs Scott, Greater Manchester
,The position of the cottage was wonderful. Quiet and fairly secluded. Pleasantly surprised. Better than the photo suggested.
,Excellent location and the cottage had everything that was needed, the garden is really good and our dog loved it.
Mr Webster, West Yorkshire
,A beautiful cottage in a stunning location.
Mr Keay, Nottinghamshire
,The cottage was warm, comfortable and homely, and everything was as described in your advertisement of the property. We intend to revisit next year.
,It was our second visit and we liked it that much we are going back for Christmas. The new shower room was absolutely beautiful and much easier for anyone who may have difficulty using a bath.
Mrs Chase, Lincolnshire
,The location was excellent and sitting in the garden with the wildlife all around was breath taking. This is the second visit to this property and it never lets us down.
Mrs Newton, East Riding of Yorkshire
,The place itself is lovely and well looked-after. It is quiet, and has style too.
Ms Lamothe, Indre et Loire (France)
,The location of the cottage was perfect; we could not have asked for better views. The walks into Whitby were nice and varied. Great base to use for touring.
Mr Wallis, Buckinghamshire
,The location and the cottage were fabulous. The weather was lovely and we loved watching the wildlife.
,We liked the beautiful location beside the river. The cottage had excellent furnishings, soft settees and a nice bed. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen. The property was nice and warm on arrival and had a lovely conservatory where you could sit and watch the river.
Mrs Howard, Lincolnshire
,Another wonderful stay at Waterloo Cottage; very relaxing. It is an easy 30 minute walk into Whitby via the Esk Valley track along the railway with steam trains passing. There is a lovely walk to Robin Hoods Bay along the Cinder track also.
,This was our second visit to this property and it still remains one of our favourites. The owner was there for the 2 weeks and was most helpful and friendly. We shall no doubt be back again.
