The property was excellent and the owners were very helpful
Mr Rees, leicestershire
,The very best cottage we have stayed in, excellent in all ways - great walking and pub etc.
Mr Jones, Devon
,The best cottage we've stayed in. The cottage was warm and well equipped with lots of welcoming touches. Brilliant location. Very clean - no evidence of previous visitors' dogs!
Mr Rich, Hampshire
,We stayed there for 4 days and enjoyed every minute, the cottage was very cosy and full of personal touches. It was clean and everything you need for your stay, we had the pleasure of meeting the lady who owns it and what a lovely lady she was. Ideal for peace and quiet if that's what you are looking for, my springer loved the freedom and plenty of walks to go on, would recommend and will definitely be going back. Thank you for letting us stay at your cottage.
Mrs Rowley, East Riding of Yorkshire
,Everything was perfect, couldn't have wished for better.
Mr Lee, Lincolnshire
,This was just ideal for us. The cottage was beautifully appointed, warm, clean and very quiet. The whole valley was quite unspoilt, like going back to the Lake District as it was 50 years ago.
Mr Aldred, Lancashire
,Undercragg was a wonderful experience and a really joy to stay in. It is very lovely and in a fantastic 'away from it all' location.
Mr Goldthorpe, Lincolnshire
,The cottage is excellently furnished, everything is there. This was our second visit and it still lived up to our expectations. In a lovely area, excellent for walking, running and relaxing. Will stay again.
,Undercragg was such a characterful cottage and was warm and cosy throughout. We appreciated the open fire. The location was excellent for walking.
Mrs Lightburn, South Yorkshire
,I was particularly looking for a cottage that was tucked away in the middle of nowhere, with excellent walks from the doorstep and had a warm cosy feel with an open fire. This cottage exceeded my expectations and I had a lovely time here. The kitchen was well-stocked, there was firewood, kindling and coals provided, the rooms were warm and the beds are comfortable. The living room was cosy with nice views out of the windows and the walks from the cottage were great: rivers, glades, rock formations, crags and up through woodlands into the open fells. I didn't see anyone whilst I was there (except tiny spots in the distance)! I will be coming back!
Dr Starr-keddle, Tyne and Wear

Miss Walker, East Sussex

,Comfortable cottage in a lovely, quiet part of the Lake District with stupendous views and walks from the door.
