An interesting, quirky property with well fitted kitchen and vintage furnishings that suited three couples (and dog!) as all bedrooms were of equal size. The central location meant it was an easy to walk to town. Top floor terrace has stunning views across rooftops to Abbey. Road parking in central Whitby will always be difficult but with two permits and a garage we had no problems.
Mrs Kenny, North Yorkshire
,Loved the history of the cottage, the real fire and the view from the balcony. In a great central location too.
Mrs Reeves, Durham
,The location was fantastic, and the view from the roof terrace was a huge bonus. There was plenty of space for a family of 7 and a small dog. The house has a lot of character and felt very much like a home.
Mr Geary, Lancashire
,This is in an excellent location for browsing, walks and rides. The Captains Hideaway has a real fire, lots of space and what must be one of the best views in Whitby from the top floor.
,A lovely cottage in a great location just minutes from the town centre. It had all mod cons, the showers were good and the kitchen was well stocked. It was clean & tidy and had comfortable beds & sofas. It was great to have a lock up garage & a parking permit as we arrived in 2 cars.
