Mr Mcewan, Dumfries and Galloway
,Couldn't fault this property at all. Everything was excellent, the owners had thought of everything and couldn't do enough for us. We will be booking this cottage again, it was so cosy and homely - we loved our stay there.
,A cosy comfortable cottage with every home comfort you could want. Very helpful owners too.
Mrs Burrell, East Riding of Yorkshire
,Lovely cosy, warm cottage in freezing outside conditions. Hosts were great, nothing was too much bother. All in all a great week.
Mr Brodie, Tyne and Wear
,The property was very well placed for both the North Pennines and the Lake District. The weather was cold during our stay but the cottage was very well heated. The owner was welcoming and helpful and overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Mrs Daniels, Glasgow
,We had a warm welcome from the owners and lots of information to make our stay enjoyable. The cottage had everything we needed. Although the cottage is in the grounds of the owners property, they didn't intrude but if we needed anything, which we didn't, we only had to ring the bell. The area is quiet and the local people friendly. There is a watermill close by that mills all different types of organic flour. They make a large selection of bread and cakes and serve vegetarian meals in their tea room.
,The cottage was one of the best we have stayed at. It is in extremely good condition with everything provided that should be and more. The owners were extremely helpful and informative. We could not have wished for a better place to stay.
Mr Cherriman, East Sussex
,The welcome from the proprietor was exceptional. Every circumstance was catered for in terms of equipment and sundries. Overall an excellent property.
,The owners were very welcoming and so much information was given to us. Everything was to a high standard, could not fault the cottage. It was in a good location to travel to other areas.
Mrs Armitage, west yorkshire
,Everything you could possibly need under one roof, all of the little extras from the wonderful hosts made for a fantastic Christmas stay. If we didn't have a dog, we would stay again without a doubt.
Mrs Grocott, Greater Manchester
,The cottage was very cosy and absolutely immaculate. The owners are a lovely couple and any requests were dealt with straight away with no trouble at all. It comes across that they are very proud of their cottage and this showed in the quality. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage. We didn't want to leave!
Ms Nicholls, West Dunbartonshire

Miss Trahar, Merseyside
,This was our first cottage holiday and it certainly set the standard. We had a warm welcome from the owner and there was lots of local information was supplied - like having a personal tourist information office. The cottage itself was superbly kitted out with everything we could possibly need and was clean, warm and comfortable. I really couldn't fault this holiday cottage, hope to return and would certainly recommend.
