This imposing, sandstone farmhouse is set in open countryside close to the hamlet of Liverton. It has far reaching views across to the coast two miles away and has retained many of its original features including fine oak panelling, exposed stonework and beamed ceilings. There are two spacious sitting rooms, one housing an open fire, and the large farmhouse kitchen has an additional dining area and a useful utility room. The four bedrooms are light and restful and there are two well-appointed bathrooms. The farmhouse also boasts a grand piano, perfect for a family gathering. The house is so welcoming and is easily big enough for all 8 of us. We love the big garden and the feeling of space. It was lovely and warm with the option of a real fire as well.
Ms Allen, North Yorkshire
,As soon as you walk in the door you get that homely feeling. It is spacious, cosy and we loved everything about the place. Both sitting rooms were comfortable and relaxing with views across the garden. We had everything from 10 people to 4 people staying and everyone agreed this was one of the best holiday cottages they had stayed in.
Mr Limbert, South Yorkshire
,A lovely home for the week for 6 adults, one toddler and a pooch. Had plenty of room, a lovely big garden, a really good position for sea and moors and a kitchen with everything you needed. The second sitting room was a real bonus too as everyone could have their own space and not get on top of each other. Loved it and wasn't ready to go home!
,The property was in a fantastic location with plenty of room for all ten guests!
Mrs Pudsey, East Riding of Yorkshire
,A fantastic place to stay with a large family group! Plenty of room for everybody and a huge garden for the children to play in.
,It was great accommodation for a large party.
,The cottage was beautiful and in a great location to visit the neighbouring beaches and the villages within the Yorkshire Moors. The cottage had plenty of space and all the kids loved exploring all the many rooms it had. The décor really suited the look and feel of the place. Would definitely recommend and come and visit/stay again in the future.
Mrs Winton, Oxfordshire
,The house and garden were fantastic and it was so quiet. It was close to all beaches and shops etc. It was a wonderful holiday and me and my family can't wait to go again.
