So peaceful and such a remote location, beautiful surroundings. The cottage is very well equipped. We had such a chilled week here, we took our own food to cook so it made it a very cheap week for us. There were lots of lovely walks nearby but it was also within driving distance of Mallerstang, Wild Boar Fell and the Howgills if you want to be a bit more adventurous. The next door neighbours are also extremely helpful too. An ideal little cottage if you want to get back to a slower way of life. We also loved chilling at night with a glass of wine just watching TV in front of the log burner. Heaven.

,The location was wild and remote and full of wonderful wildlife. The neighbours, who look after the property for the owner were fantastic people. For us it was just perfect.
Mr Frost, Wiltshire
,A lovely quiet place, perfect for a retreat.
Miss Wood, Lincolnshire (county)
,Our contacts at the property were wonderful people and helped make our stay even better. They are to be commended for their enthusiasm and attention to the guests of the property. The gardens were impressive and showed that a lot of hard work had gone in to tending the enclosure. We appreciated and respected the eco ambitions of the property and had a very restful stay.
Mr Montgomery, Cambridgeshire
,Remote, cosy little cottage and just what we were looking for. This is the second time that we have stayed here and have loved every minute of our holiday. A little corner of heaven here. It is a truly magical place. We were sad to leave and come home but are booking up for a return visit next year.
